The signal layer
for creative workflows

Une couche de signaux brandables pour coordonner équipes, agents et outils vidéo.

Turn direction
into a signal.

Explore the visual vocabulary of camera movement, optics, framing and stability. Select a glyph, shape an intention, copy the result.

Cadra is a small visual protocol. The font renders the signal; the semantic catalogue lets people and agents share the intention.

One visual language
many handoffs.

Cadra turns a camera intention into a shared, branded shortcut: readable by a person, actionable by an agent and portable across a production workflow.

01 — COMMON RULES

One signal across
the whole team.

Pass the same Cadra glyph, prompt and parameters from one agent to another, or from a director to a cinematographer. Everyone reads the same intention without rebuilding the brief.

02 — BRANDED PRESETS

Give one movement
several voices.

Humans and agents can use the same glyph with a studio’s rules for speed, lens, duration, tone and prompt. One visual vocabulary, adapted to every brand or format.

03 — TOKEN ECONOMY

Reuse the signal,
spend fewer tokens.

When agents share the same Cadra catalogue, a short glyph ID can replace a repeated camera description between handoffs. It reduces duplicated context; the full prompt remains available when execution needs it.

Turn a glyph
into a preset.

Start with a visual shortcut. Shape its speed, lens, duration and style, then share one named signal with humans, agents and video tools.

Take the system
into your workflow.

Install the font, use the standalone SVGs, or let an agent read the semantic catalogue and JSON Schema.

Install / select / direct.

Install the OTF or TTF on your machine, or load the WOFF2 on the web. Use the playground to find the right intention, then copy its HTML class or Unicode codepoint.

A GLYPH IS A GRID

Built from
a shared frame.

Each Cadra glyph is drawn in the same 256 × 256 coordinate space. A common centre, axis and scale keep the visual language coherent when a human reads it or an agent assembles it.

  1. 01Frame — establish the square and the safe area.
  2. 02Signal — translate direction, speed or focus into a minimal mark.
  3. 03Balance — centre the ink, not only the font box.

A shared visual layer
— by Eugène Studio

Cadra is an open-source experiment for translating mise-en-scène into a shared visual language. Film and director references are documentary only; the glyphs are original, generic diagrams.
